Zurich Airport Parking and Park, Sleep and Fly: P1 to P6 Rates, Booking Online and the Hotels with Parking
Zurich Airport’s car parks are among the most expensive in Europe, which is why the park, sleep and fly question matters more here than at most airports. The arithmetic is simple: the terminal car parks cost about CHF 54 a day, the remote P6 about CHF 45, and four of the hotels on this site charge CHF 20 to 35 a night for a car and throw in a bed. This guide gives the 2026 rates, where each car park is, how to book, and what each hotel offers.
Airport car parks and rates
P1, P2 and P3 are the multi-storey car parks at the terminal, a covered walk from Check-in 1 and 2 (P1 and P2) and Check-in 3 (P3); the on-site rates are CHF 54 for one day, CHF 96 for two, CHF 127 for three, CHF 155 for four, CHF 183 for five, CHF 211 for six, CHF 239 for a week, then CHF 28 a day, with CHF 435 for 14 days and CHF 631 for 21. P6 is the long-term car park on the far side of the airport with a free shuttle bus every few minutes to the terminal: CHF 45 for a day, CHF 87 for two, CHF 195 for a week, CHF 328 for 14 days and CHF 461 for 21. P4 is beneath The Circle, used by the two Hyatts, at about CHF 56 a day, and P5 is the short-stay deck for pick-ups. All take cards and most have electric vehicle charging; P1 to P3 are the ones to use for a weekend, P6 for a fortnight.
Booking ahead
The airport sells parking on its own website by the day, with lower rates than the drive-in price for bookings made in advance, and lets you pick the car park nearest your check-in hall; the booking is tied to your number plate and the barrier reads it. Around Kloten and Rümlang, private operators sell cheaper long-stay parking with a shuttle to the terminal, listed on the comparison sites; allow 20 minutes for the shuttle each way and check the insurance.
Park, sleep and fly at the hotels
The Hilton Zurich Airport charges CHF 35 a night for parking, has EV charging and sells park, sleep and fly rates with extended parking; its shuttle to the terminal is CHF 7. The Mövenpick Hotel Zurich Airport has an outdoor car park charged nightly, packages with parking and a free shuttle from 4:30 am. The Dorint Airport-Hotel Zürich has free EV charging in its car park and a free shuttle from the airport (CHF 5 back). The ibis budget Zurich Airport has a 65-space indoor car park at CHF 20 a day, the cheapest hotel parking at the airport, with the tram to the terminal. At the airport itself, the Radisson Blu has 40 indoor spaces at CHF 35 a night and its own walkway into the terminal, and the Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Place direct guests to the airport’s P4 under The Circle at about CHF 56 a day. Ask each hotel for its extended-parking rate when you book, and compare it with P6.
The morning of the flight
From the Radisson Blu and the Hyatts, leave the car where it is and walk: five minutes under cover to check-in. From the Hilton, Mövenpick and Dorint take the hotel shuttle (timetables at the desk; the Mövenpick’s runs from 4:30 am, the Dorint’s from 6:00 am, the Hilton’s on request) or a taxi at about CHF 20; from the ibis budget take tram 10 or 12 two stops. The terminals guide explains which check-in hall your airline uses, and the car hire and vignette guide covers returning a rental car to the airport’s car rental centre.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does parking cost at Zurich Airport?
At the terminal car parks P1, P2 and P3 the on-site rate is CHF 54 for a day, CHF 96 for two, CHF 239 for a week and CHF 435 for two weeks. P6, a few minutes away by free shuttle, is CHF 45 a day, CHF 195 a week and CHF 328 for two weeks. Booking online in advance is cheaper than the drive-in rate.
Can I book Zurich Airport parking in advance?
Yes, on the airport's own site, which sells P1 to P3, P6 and the Circle's P4 by the day with a discount for booking ahead, and lets you choose the car park closest to your check-in. Private off-airport operators in Kloten and Rümlang are cheaper still with a shuttle.
Which hotels near Zurich Airport offer park, sleep and fly?
The Hilton (parking CHF 35 a night), the Mövenpick, the Dorint (free EV charging) and the ibis budget (CHF 20 a day) all have their own car parks and sell packages or let you extend parking at a nightly rate; the Radisson Blu has 40 spaces at CHF 35 a night. The Hyatts use the airport's P4 beneath The Circle at about CHF 56 a day.
Is it cheaper to leave the car at a hotel than at the airport?
For a week, usually yes at the ibis budget (CHF 140) and often at the Dorint or Mövenpick on a package; the Hilton's CHF 35 a night is about the same as P6. For two or three days the difference is small and the airport's P6 saves the shuttle.
